We came in for a late lunch, wanting to keep things pretty light. We ordered the Teriyaki sampler, california roll, and shrimp tempura roll. Everything was delicious and the service was perfect. My favorite was the ambience. The lighting was great (nice and dim) and the interior is very elevated and very surprising being found in a regular strip mall. 10/10

Great from start to finish. The carpaccio and nigiri were great, and the crispy rice was ordered twice to our table on this visit. The seared tuna could ditch the sauce, and I wasn't all that excited with the roll options. With that being said, I was impressed with every dish that we ordered and look forward to visiting again.

I am a huge sushi lover and Bistro Wasabi is a great place to really enjoy good sushi. The one feedback I'll give and I will say I did not tell our waiter but something I will still impact on rating for my review. Please don't be alarmed by the harshness of the drinks it really is just my opinion but the food is still great and I would still recommend it. Drinks... The rum old fashion is not great once I saw the multiple ice cubes and the strong taste of the overpowered rum, I would not recommend it. Lastly, because I didn't enjoy my drink I asked for a sprite.... Unfortunately the sprite was watered down and you can tell it lacked the syrup (as it seems it came from the bar vs. a sprite can).

Saturday night it was packed but they were able to get a table for two after some wait. They were very nice taking care of everyone. The service was excellent. Love the atmosphere. We ordered crab Rangoon, crazy, and spider. The crazy sushi was big which requires two bites. The sushi was excellent. Overall love this location for sushi.

4:30 pm on New Year's Eve. Our choice for dinner when they open because it gets real crowded real quick on the Holidays. That said , Suki, our server always effortlessly efficient along with the most excellent quality in food and drinks. Don't forget to make this one of your NW Suburb Dinner stops!

We have been to Bistro many times over the years and this place is within walking distance of our house. It is widely considered the best sushi in the Algonquin area even though there are other local Sushi places that also offer up good sushi and rolls. What Bistro also offers is an incredible ambiance and service that makes you feel like you are at a nice restaurant in downtown Chicago and not located in a strip mall in the NW suburbs. The service is always great and the food and selection is fantastic as well. I always try to have saki as I am a fan. It is a bit pricey but overall a good value for a fantastic meal and great ambiance!! Plus it's nicely located next to El Cocino which is basically a sister restaurant that serves amazing Mexican food and drinks.

The inside of the restaurant is very clean and sleek designed. Our server was friendly and attentive. We ordered a few rolls of sushi and the crackled tuna appetizer. Our favorite item was the tuna appetizer. It was crispy with a nice kick to it. The sushi was fine. Nothing crazy to write home about. Overall, decent place to get sushi in the area.

This is a great date night spot that we went to on a Wednesday evening so it wasn't busy. We ordered a good amount of food for 2 people including drink and appetizers of: Hopping Island Martini (Wednesday $7), Teriyaki Sampler (Chicken, Beef, Shrimp), Agedashi Tofu, and Octopus Salad For entrees: Una Q Maki Roll, Salmon Skin Maki Roll, Wasabi Bistro Special Maki Roll, Half Rack of Lamb comes with veggies and rice. There was miso soup included that was free. The total for us was $100 which we thought was reasonable for the amount of food and the quality and taste. My favorite dish was the teriyaki sampler because the sauce was delicious. The sushi was also great - my favorite being the Una Q Maki Roll which has eel. We would definitely go again!
